Murder suspect sought, victim shot in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Pittsfield police are looking for a Murder suspect who they say is armed and dangerous.
Officers say 29-year-old Justin Crawford of Pittsfield died after he was shot near Pleasure Avenue and Tyler Street on Thursday, June 18th.
A second individual was also shot during this same incident, but survived.
Detectives now have an arrest warrant out for 35-year-old, Terry Martizna.
In a press release sent to Western Mass News Tuesday evening, the Pittsfield Police Department reports they’ve charged Martizna with Murder.
This comes after what they say has been extensive investigation with MA State Police, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office.
“Martizna should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public,” noted Pittsfield police.
