2 arrested in crack down of illegal dirt bikes and ATVs
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A 52-year-old was arrested and his ATV towed as Springfield police continue to crack down on illegal dirt bikes and ATVs.
Officers spotted Tomeco Kelly riding an ATV without a helmet on Hancock Street last Thursday, police said.
Another arrest was made on Saturday.
Eulysses Hernandez, Jr. was allegedly seen by officers riding a dirt bike without a helmet, on the wrong side of the road, cutting off traffic. He was arrested and his bike also seized.
Both men face multiple charges, including unregistered and uninsured vehicle and helmet violations.
