2 early morning break-ins reported in South Hadley

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Two people reported break-ins at their South Hadley homes early Monday morning.

South Hadley police said a report of a breaking and entering out of Stanton Avenue came in just after 4 a.m. A thud came from the back yard as a man was allegedly trying to pry a door open.

Later in the morning, another report came in regarding a breaking and entering on Leahy Avenue. The homeowner said a small window was broken on their garage door.

Camera footage of someone trying to break in to cars at Mount Holyoke College was recorded, however it is unclear whether the two incidents are related.
