Agawam pays tribute to veterans at new memorial

AGAWAM — Expressing the town’s gratitude to its veterans, Agawam leaders on Tuesday also thanked those who built the new Veterans Plaza.
This year’s Veterans Day ceremony was the first public event at the 2,000-square-foot courtyard at School Street Park, which includes the granite monuments and plaques formerly installed at the Veterans Green on Main Street.
