Agawam’s Grand Colleen selected for Saint Patrick’s day parade
AGAWAM, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The Grand Colleen of Agawam has been crowned. Ava Levesque, an Agawam High School graduate and nursing student at Quinnipiac University, will now go on to represent her town, and her irish heritage
The Grand Colleen was chosen by a three judge panel, including Western Mass News anchor Sloane Wick.
Levesque represents the intelligence and grace of a Grand Colleen, Ava is the treasurer-elect for the nurses association at her university, and job shadows in the pediatric procedures unit at Baystate.
Ava, along with her court of five Colleens, will be the faces of Agawam at the 73rd Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade on March 22nd.
