Annual Mother’s Day Fun Held held to benefit Cancer Connection

WHATELY, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Runners and walkers hit the roads in Whately and Hatfield on Sunday — raising money for cancer support while taking in some of western Mass’ best views.
The Western Mass Mother’s Day 9-mile walk and fun run began at 7:30 a.m. With the half-marathon race stepping off at 8 a.m.
Since 2010, the event has raised over $800,000 for Cancer Connection — a nonprofit community cancer support center based in western Mass.
