CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Aurora’s Pizzeria in Chicopee officially opened its new location Tuesday morning.

Formerly at 1720 Westover Road, multiple city officials were in attendance to honor the long-standing business re-opening its doors just a few doors down at 1782 Westover Road.

Aurora’s said after a month and a half of being closed, customers are thrilled they’re back in business.

“They could not wait for us to reopen. Everybody would come in the day that we opened last, I think it was the 19th of May. And all the people coming in like, ‘I’m so glad you’re back. I’m so glad you’re back. I’m so glad you’re back.’ So that’s all I heard for like the last two weeks,” said Owner Aurora McGreevy.

The pizzeria is opened Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
