Belchertown Public Schools suspends Summer Eats Program

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Belchertown Public School District has announced it’s suspending its Summer Eats Program until further notice.
In a message posted to social media, Superintendent Brian Cameron said they made the decision after experiencing operational and financial issues as well as staffing shortages.
Cameron says he will let families know when alternative local Summer Eats sites are known so families can access these meal services.
