Berkshire Mall owner says a Texas developer wants to buy the former mall — if Baker Hill Road District is dissolved

LANESBOROUGH — For the fifth time since The Berkshire Mall first changed hands a decade ago, the shuttered shopping center has a new potential buyer: Cypress Equities of Texas, a real estate developer with projects that span the country.
But there’s an impediment, according to the mall's owner, JMJ RE Holdings: the Baker Hill Road District.
