Cancer Connection opens its doors in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - An organization that provides free services for people living with cancer is coming to Springfield.
Cancer Connection opened the doors of its new location on Allen Street Saturday morning. The nonprofit offers one-on-one guidance, education, therapy and more to those dealing with the illness — and it’s all for free.
The organization will also be opening a new thrift shop at 1510 Allen Street. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 11 a.m.
