Car strikes utility pole in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Sunday afternoon, the Russell-Montgomery Police Department released a statement that Main Road is closed from Carrington Road to New State Road due to a car crashing into a utility pole.
Wires were reported to be on the road as a result of the accident. There has been no word of any injuries as a result of the accident.
Officials asked people to avoid the area until crews can make the necessary repairs at this time.
