Chicopee Police and Fire meet in the rink for Battle of the Badges

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Chicopee officials traded in their badges for pucks and hit the ice to settle their rivalry for a good cause.
Fire and police crews went head-to-head for their 10th annual “Battle of the Badges” hockey game on Saturday afternoon, all to benefit the Chicopee Boys and Girls Club. Plus, two scholarships were given out to students of Chicopee Comp. and Chicopee High School.
As for the winner, the Chicopee Fire Department took home the win for the 3rd year in a row.
