Children from around the world take part in MADE Hoops Global Games at the MassMutual Center

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Young basketball players from around the world all gathered together here in Springfield for the MADE Hoops Global Games at the MassMutual Center.
Children from aged 10 to 14 from more than a dozen countries as far away as Serbia and Lithuania came to play in the first ever middle school basketball championship.
The tournament was made possible with help from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. MADE Hoops was started in 2014 in order to help grow and continue the development of young basketball players.
