Church service to be held for Hotel UMass victim

AMHERST, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The UMass community will gather to honor Emma MacDonald, a dining employee who was allegedly killed in an instance of domestic violence.
Emma was found dead at the hotel on campus after being beaten by her husband, police said. The memorial will take place at the Newman Catholic Center at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The center’s director said they will be praying for Emma and those affected by the horrible tragedy.
