Coca-Cola to finally shut down Northampton plant

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Over 170 workers in Northampton will be out of a job by the end of November.
The Coca-Cola plant on Industrial Drive will be shutting down for good at the end of the year. Its closure was originally announced in 2023 but it was pushed back multiple times.
Now, 175 employees will be let go, some on August 15th and others on November 30th.
