Community mourns dining supervisor found dead on Umass campus

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Community members continue to mourn the loss of a beloved dining supervisor at Umass who was found dead on campus last week.

Her husband, an award-winning chef at Umass, is believed to be responsible. Jeffrey ManDonald has been charged with first-degree murder.

The memorial for Emma MacDonald continues to grow with flowers and tributes left behind.

Friends and community members said she was a devoted mother with an infectious laugh and a warm personality, and was deeply loved in the campus culinary community.
