Conviction upheld in 2018 murder of Ludlow Central Bakery owner

LUDLOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A Springfield man’s conviction of first-degree murder was upheld on Tuesday after he murdered his boss in a Ludlow bakery back in 2018.
Franklin Conza was found guilty of killing 70-year-old Carlos Santos, the co-owner of Ludlow Central Bakery, by stabbing him repeatedly in the chest.
When police arrived, they rushed Santos to Baystate Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Conza now faces life in prison.
