AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - They say they best food is made with love, and an Agawam woman is proving that it’s true by hosting cooking classes in honor of her late husband.

Bunny Depergola and her late husband Pasquale, known to many as Patsy, owned multiple restaurants in western Mass including Pasquale’s Restaurant in East Longmeadow.

After her husband passed last year, she decided to start, ‘Cooking with Bunny’. Small groups of 12 to 15 people will get the chance to learn some of her husband’s favorite recipes.

This month, it’s zupa clams. Depergola told Western Mass News the emotional reason she was inspired to start this program, “I want my husband’s memory to live on. He was a very modest man. He didn’t even want an obituary. This is what he deserves. He’s with me. And I want his memory to live on.”

After everyone learns how to make the meal, they will sit down and enjoy the meal together. Classes will take place on Tuesday and Friday nights, and Saturdays.
