Crews battle overnight blaze at apartment complex

SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Around 1:20 a.m. early on Saturday morning, the Sunderland Fire Department responded to a reports of fire at the Sugarloaf Estates apartments on River Road.
Upon arrival, crews found flames shooting through the roof of one of the buildings and the first alarm was struck. Mutual aid was called in from several surrounding communities to help put out the flames.
There were no injuries as a result from the fire. There are no further details at this time.
