Crews respond to house fire in East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - We turn to more developing news now as crews battled a building fire on North Circle Drive.
We spoke with East Longmeadow Deputy Fire Chief Edward Linehan just before crews left a moment ago, as you can see no exterior damage to the house.
The family of the home at 72 N Circle Drive has been removing their belongings from the house over the past hour, and there were no injuries to anyone, and the fire has been under control for the last hour, according to the Deputy Chief.
The chief told us that when they first arrived, there was heavy smoke coming out of the front door, they were able to quickly access the fire hydrant outside on the street and pulled an attack line.
Officials said the cause of the fire is still unknown at this time, as it is under investigation.
