‘Critical incident’ reported in North Adams

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - North Adams Police responded to what they call a critical incident in the area of Upper Houghton Street.
Officials said the area has been closed to the public so that emergency personnel can respond. They ask you to avoid the area until further notice and give first responders space to address the situation.
