SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Seventeen people in total, including two from Springfield, were arrested after a street takeover in Eastern Mass back in October.

Around a hundred people blocked an intersection in Randolph while vehicles did drift maneuvers, donuts and other stunts in the road.

The first responding officer was blocked in when people surrounded his cruiser, jumped on his hood, and beat on it. This, as fireworks were fired both on top of and near the cruiser.

With videos posted online -- police obtained warrants for the account owners. The 17 suspects arrested are from five states.

Twenty-year-old Christopher William Diaz and 19-year-old Aidan Quinn LaFleche both hail from Springfield and face conspiracy charges in connection with the incident.
