Downtown Springfield hosts fifth annual Springfield Pride Parade

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Springfield celebrated the LGBTQ community this month with its annual pride parade.
For the fifth year in a row, hundreds of residents have come out to show their pride and their support for the community — carrying flags and waving signs throughout downtown. The energy and the love felt throughout the day keeps residents coming back
Mayor Sarno was also in attendance for the parade and said a good person is a good person no matter their creed, race, background, sexual orientation or gender identity.
