Early dismissal announced for Springfield Public Schools

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Tuesday, kids will be leaving school early and will not be able to attend after school activities.
Springfield Public Schools announced there will be an early dismissal due to the extreme heat. In addition, after school activities will be canceled.
All elementary schools and preschools will get out at 12:20 p.m., the middle schools will leave at 11:35 p.m. and high schoolers will depart at 11:05 a.m.
