Easthampton bridge to become one lane due to poor condition

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - If you’re driving through Easthampton any time soon, the Liberty Street Bridge is down to one lane indefinitely after MassDOT found accelerated deterioration of its beams.
It’ll be a one-way alternating pattern with a single center lane while DPW staff coordinate with state officials on next steps.
