Easthampton receives grant to improve rail trail

EASTHMAPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The City of Easthampton has received more than $400,000 to fund improvements to Manhan Rail Trail.
The funding from the MassTrails grant program supports recreational trail development worldwide and will enhance accessibility for residents and visitors.
Planned work includes removal of trees and roots along the trail surface, pavement repairs, and other durability upgrades.
