Elms College awarded nearly $500k for new laboratory

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Massachusetts Life Science Center awarded thousands of dollars to Elms College for the Division of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Technology.
The nearly $500,000 grant will go towards building a new laboratory for biology and biotechnology majors looking for careers in life sciences and data science.
The laboratory is intended to provide students with a dedicated space for research, as well as serving as a hub for collaboration and innovation.
