Emergency crews in Palmer fight Mass Pike car fire

PALMER, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Palmer firefighters quickly knocked down a car fire on the Mass Pike on Wednesday afternoon.
Crews were dispatched just after 12:30 p.m. to the westbound off-ramp, where they were able to put out the car fire and no injuries were reported.
Despite also handling two other crashes and an ambulance transport to Baystate at the same time, Palmer Fire managed all calls without needing mutual aid.
