LENOX — The Apple Tree Inn, opposite Tanglewood, locally popular for its Ostrich Room nighttime live music and pub menu, has closed for extensive renovations.

Owners Claire Collery and her husband, Toph Tucker, are proposing to reconfigure a portion of the historic property, which was built in 1885 as a private home.

Coming off  her second season as owners of the historic Apple Tree Inn opposite Tanglewood in Lenox, Claire Collery and her husband, Toph Tucker, are planning extensive renovations to part of the building, including the "Round Room."
