The city's notice to boil water has been lifted except for some remaining properties near State Road and American Legion Drive. Yesterday night, crews fixed the broken pipe on American Legion Drive and restored proper water pressure to the Wheel Estates.

The state closed the heavily used bridge in March 2023 after determining it wasn’t safe for travel. On Monday, the city was gifted an early Christmas present. "I'm so excited," Mayor Jennifer Macksey said.

Some residents are without water and the city has issued a boil water requirement to affected areas after a string of leaks and water main breaks in the system in recent days.

Under Canvas is applying for a special permit and site plan review to transform the former Donnybrook Country Club into a glamping resort.

Chris Reed from Stoss Landscape Urbanism advised that knocking down the failing bridge would create more space, encourage walkability, and make room for new development, but doing so will take money and cooperation at all levels.

Berkshire Health Urgent Care North will be located in the Williamstown Medical facility at 197 Adams Road.
