Fire crews battle structure fire in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Just before 3 p.m. on Friday, the Pittsfield Fire Department were sent to 25 Pine Street for the reports of a structure fire.
Upon arriving to the scene, crews spotted large flames shooting out from the back of the building. Due the severity of the fire, a second alarm was sounded in order to help battle the blaze.
The fire was put out of after an hour of battling the fire. There were no injuries as a result of the fire with the building being considered salvageable.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
