Fire displaces ten people from their homes

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Around 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Springfield Fire Department rushed over to 124 Westford Avenue for a call of a kitchen fire.
Western Mass News was on the scene and spotted several fire engines and a pair of ambulances on scene as they worked to put out the flames.
The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad determined the cause of the fire appears to be from cooking. Ten people have been displaced and are currently being assisted by the Red Cross.
There are no further details at this time.
