Four people displaced in Springfield house fire

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - After 9 a.m. on Friday, the Springfield Fire Department was sent to 9-11 Kensington Avenue for a house fire.
The fire was put out with no injures reported. The Springfield Fire Department said on social media that a total of 4 people, as well as 2 dogs and 1 cat was displaced as a result of the fire. All of them are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad is investigating the cause of the fire.
There are no further details at this time.
