SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A first-of-its-kind rideshare union is coming to Massachusetts, according to Gov. Healey.
Healey is planning to join national and local labor leads to celebrate the App Driver’s Union on Tuesday. She says the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations certified the union on Friday and that it is the first union of gig workers in the country.
A press conference will be held at the Massachusetts State House at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
