Hampden County 4H to host fair at Eastern States Exposition
WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Hampden County 4H and Youth Fair is coming to The Big E fairgrounds in West Springfield this weekend.
Organizers said 4H has been teaching hands-on skills like baking, crafts, animal care and leadership for nearly 125 years. The fair will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mallary Complex at Eastern States Exposition.
Kids from across the region are invited, whether they’re 4H members or not, with events like a fun run, bike rodeo and pedal tractor pull for children 12 and under.
Non-members can also watch demonstrations throughout the day.
