Handgun seized after disturbance in Holyoke

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Around noon on Wednesday, July 1st, officers of the Holyoke Police Department were sent to an apartment at 168 Essex Street for a report of a disturbance.

When police arrived, witnesses told officers that 34-year-old Sharon Tabb of Holyoke was pointing a handgun at several people within the apartment.

A search of the apartment followed, officers were able to find the loaded handgun inside Tabb’s fanny pack. He was quickly placed under arrest and now faces a slew of firearms charges.
