Holyoke Teachers Association tells their next steps after new contract

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Earlier this week, the Holyoke Teachers Association reached a tentative agreement on a new contract after months of negotiations.
Now, the association said the next step is the district reaching an agreement with the Holyoke Paraprofessionals Association.
President of the association, Nick Cream, said the paraprofessionals work tirelessly to support students and deserve a contract that reflects their dedication.
Members of the HTA will schedule a ratification vote for the coming weeks.
