Inmate death at CT prison prompts investigation, officials say

SUFFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway after a inmate unexpectedly died on Sunday.
An incarcerated individual has died at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield, according to Department of Corrections representative.
State Police along with the Department of Correction Security Division are reviewing the matter.
As the investigation continues, officials said they are not able to provide more details on this incident at this time.
No further details were released.
