Jett Foundation surprises Westfield teen with life-changing accessible van

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Sunday morning, the Jett Foundation based in Norwell, Mass. made a stop at Skyline Restaurant on Southwick Road to drop off a life changing gift.
13-year-old Darren McQuade has lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a muscular disorder that requires him to be in a wheelchair to be able to move around.
With this condition, doing the things he enjoys hasn’t been easy, his last family minivan wasn’t able to fit his wheelchair for him to be able to head to school and doctor’s appointments.
With the Jett Foundation’s help, the McQuaid family was able to receive a new accessible minivan to make their lives easier.
