Jewelry stolen from Holyoke Mall, police say

HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Neighbors surrounding the Holyoke Mall reported loud banging sounds and a large police presence on Tuesday evening.
The Holyoke Police Department confirmed with Western Mass News that there was a disturbance within the mall. Officials said that a suspect broke open a kiosk filled with jewelry and fled from the scene, taking the merchandise with them.
The Holyoke Police Department is still investigating the incident.
