Lack of equipment cancels some Amtrak trains through Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — Amtrak canceled five north-south trains that normally serve Springfield because of lack of equipment Monday.
Two of those trains are already canceled for Tuesday, as well, said Jason Abrams, a spokesperson for the railroad. They are numbers 425 and 471, both Valley Flyer trains.
