Lawsuit against Pittsfield mayor, former bank executives dismissed after settlement

PITTSFIELD — A federal lawsuit filed by a former Pittsfield Cooperative Bank executive against the bank and three former executives — including Pittsfield Mayor Peter Marchetti — was dismissed with prejudice Monday.
The parties reached a confidential settlement, though the terms — including whether any payments were made — are not public.
The case is permanently closed and cannot be retried.
