Longmeadow neighbors bury time capsule for the nation’s tricentennial

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Residents from Longmeadow were invited to bring items that represent the town to fill up a time capsule. That capsule was buried on Saturday on the town green on Saturday.
People dropped off significant items that show what the community is like in this historic moment. All the items were accepted prior to the special event.
The capsule will be opened in another fifty years as the town looks back on 300 years of our nation.
