Ludlow man dies after head-on crash in Vermont

SEARSBURG, Vt. (WCAX) - A Ludlow man died in a head-on crash on Route 9 in Searsburg, Vermont Tuesday morning.
Vermont State Police say Alan Vautrain, 53, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, was traveling east and drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed into a 72-year-old driver from Wilmington.
Police say Vautrain died at the scene. The other driver received only minor injuries.
