Ludlow Police announce newest addition to K9 unit

LUDLOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Ludlow residents can sleep easy tonight as the police department is introducing its newest K9 team: Officer Da Costa and K9 Striker.
The team has trained in building searches, tracking, area searches, apprehensions and narcotics detection — and is now certified in both patrol operations and drug detection.
Ludlow’s Police Department is also honoring longtime K9 team officer Whitney and K9 Max for their years of service.
