BERNARDSTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A motorcycle crash on Routes 5 and 10 in Bernardston has led to a long list of charges for the rider — including reckless endangerment of a child while operating under the influence.

On the night of Monday, June 1st, an off-duty firefighter reported seeing the motorcycle earlier — riding up on the sidewalk and hopping curbs along South Street. After later turning out of Townline Ice Cream, the bike crashed.

The unnamed man and his 13-year-old passenger were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers learned the license plate on the motorcycle was stolen.

A 2nd offense OUI and having an open container are among the 12 charges for the driver.
