WORCESTER, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A Worcester man has been indicted for murder in the death of a woman who was reported missing last fall. Prosecutors said a Worcester County grand jury indicted 29-year-old Donovan Foster on one count of murder in connection with the death of 30-year-old Joanna Brown.

Brown was reported missing by her family on November 2nd, 2025, after she didn’t show up for work. The next day, Worcester Police found her body inside her Mitsubishi Outlander in a parking lot off Mount Vernon Street. Detectives, working with the district attorney’s office, later identified foster as a suspect.

He was already being held after a dangerousness hearing on separate gun charges, accused of carrying a loaded firearm without a license. Foster’s case now moves to Worcester Superior Court, where he’s expected to be arraigned July 17th.
