ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - An Enfield Police K-9 and a drone helped apprehend two suspects on Thursday.

A man wanted on an active arrest warrant and domestic violence incident fled a location before officers arrived, according to the police department K-9 unit.

K-9 Dunkin sprang into action and started tracking, the drone team also picked up two suspects walking south along the railroad tracks.

The K-9 team was closing their distance and the two suspects were stopped by a patrol district holding a perimeter location, police said.

It was revealed that a woman who was with the man at the time was also found to be in possession of a quantity of narcotics.

No further details were released.
