SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Saturday, both Springfield officials and community members came together to unveil the new ‘Wall of Fame’ mural in the Mason Square neighborhood.

The mural portrayed 38 leaders of the community that has shown their leadership and service to their community over the years. All of those in the mural had their names read aloud in the unveiling ceremony.

Many elected officials were in attendance, from Springfield Mayor Dominic Sarno and Massachusetts State Representative Bud Williams.
