Mass. man, Conn. man accused of kidnapping woman in New Hampshire

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A man from Massachusetts and another from Connecticut are facing charges after they allegedly kidnapped a victim in New Hampshire and held her in Vermont.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s office, 27-year-old Tyron Harris and 30-year-old Damarcus Bonner kidnapped a woman from Claremont, NH and brought her to a residence in Springfield, VT.
There, they allegedly tortured and beat her and held her hostage for over 24 hours. They also demanded money from her and others, the attorney’s office said.
Springfield police arrested the two men on the morning of Jan 25. A firearm, drugs and duct tape as well as “items used for torture” were found in the residence.
Harris and Bonner are charged with an interstate kidnapping conspiracy.
The FBI is investigating.
